- Developing testing frameworks that work at scale for large enterprises and experience in Agile/Scrum delivery model
- Working day to day as part of a mixed Agile team comprising Developers, Product Owners and various Stakeholders
- Automating all tiers of the enterprise scale applications (UI, API, Database) and build/guide the team to implement CI/CD pipeline for a portfolio
- Building test automation frameworks that are easy to develop scripts, robust, support a variety of reporting, easy to troubleshoot failures, integrate with bug tracking systems, and work easily with CI/CD for cloud-based products.
- Working with BDD/TDD frameworks with Cucumber/Gherkin, C#, Python, Appium
- Innovating quality engineering processes and tools.
- Guiding other automation engineers to enhance their automation abilities. Assist engineers in creating automation test scripts by providing reference scripts and following best practices such as processes and tools.
- Performing automation feasibility analysis, requirements, and testability analysis of the project/program to identify the scope of the automation
- Automating test scripts development and execution performed in a high-paced environment
- Showcasing the ROI of automation and evangelizing the benefits of automation to increase automation footprint across Enterprise level
- Supporting engineering organizations in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and dev/test environments.
- Designing, implementing and continuously improve on test automation efficiency and increasing the testing team’s productivity.
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience possessed:
- Degree in Computer Science. Software Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar capacity
- Must have hands-on experience and skills in one or more test automation tools: cucumber framework, selenium web driver, selenium, soapUI, HP-UFT (QTP_, RFT, Appium, Apache JMeter
- Knowledge of codeless testing tools Katalon studio, TestCraft, CloudQA, or other test automation suites.
- Experience in developing testing frameworks that work at scale for large enterprises and experience in Agile/Scrum delivery model
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders to perform a feasibility studies for automation frameworks and development of proofs of concept
- Experience working within a wide variety of automated testing frameworks using C#, Selenium, Selenium Grid, CI/CD pipeline, Docker, Web Service Automation, SoapUI, REST, PowerShell Scripting skill, Database SQL
- Experience with DevOps, CICD, Jenkins, and GIT
- Proven experience working with Relational and NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience in defining test strategies, test planning, and test automation
- API testing experience.
- Experience on setting up the automation test framework for both UI and backend
- Understanding of quality principles, tools and techniques including testing concepts, methodologies and processes
